Cinnamon Chipotle Sliders

Okay, before you say to yourself “Cinnamon Sliders?” and move on…you have to know that these are SO delish and I wouldn’t share the recipe if I didn’t think so! The flavor was pretty amazing…but I will say I do like to have some different flavors here and there. Nothing too weird…just different! This is for sure worth a try <3


  • 1 red onion
  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 1 lb ground beef {grass fed!}
  • 2 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1.5 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1.5 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp chipotle powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • sea salt & ground pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar


Thinly slice onions & slice mushrooms.

Mix your beef & spices in a large mixing bowl.

Heat a medium sized skillet over the stove and add coconut oil. Add onions and stir to cover in coconut oil. Add a Tbsp or so of water to help steam the onions.

As the onions begin to brown, get a large skillet ready and add the olive oil. Heat over med-high heat for your sliders.

Form small patties with the meat/spice mixture. Add to hot skillet and cook 4-5 minutes per side.

As the sliders are cooking, keep stirring onions until they’ve cooked about 6-8 minutes. Add mushrooms plus a Tbsp or so of water to steam.

Once mushrooms and onions are almost cooked through, add balsamic vinegar & combine.

Top your cooked sliders with ground mustard as an option, along with the sauteed mushrooms and onions.
