Brownies {LCHF}

Who doesn’t love a moist, chocolatey brownie?! Since we’ve been eating low carb, high fat, I have lost my ravenous sweet tooth (not a bad problem to have, I must say). This yummy morsel has a dark chocolate, decadent flavor and I was so happy that I loved it so much and didn’t even miss the uber-sweetness that I used to crave. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 Tbsp almond flour
  • 3 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp stevia
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp water
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp DARK chocolate chips (72% or higher)

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 325F. Lightly grease a 6-inch casserole dish.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, cocoa powder, stevia & baking powder.

Stir in the water, melted butter, egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour batter into prepared casserole dish and sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Bake 13 to 16 minutes, or until puffed but not quite set. The brownie should jiggle a bit in the center when shaken.
